This is an interview with 3 generations of McCaffreys: Kevin Snr – Former Chairman and Current Honorary President, Neil – Former Juvenile Manager, and Oisin - Juvenile Player. McCaffreys have been involved in Renmore Soccer since the 1970s and Kevin Senior was a key member of the Committee as Chairman in the 1990s when Renmore acheived major success at International and Local level, with Renmore representing Ireland in Hungary in 1995 and the 1996 and 1998 Premier wins. On Monday 1st of May 2023 Renmore A.F.C hosted a soccer tournament for Ladies over 30. The event was well supported with teams from the community in Galway along with teams traveling from further a field. The tournament has raised over €3,000 for Galway Hospice Foundation. In June 2023, RenmoreAFC ran a Mini World Cup 2023 with 150 kids and 50+ volunteers participating. The 2 day event was an outstanding success. This video is a selection of photos and recordings from the day. This will become an annual activity for the club.
